Donations

All donations to Toymakers of East Lake go directly toward making toys for the children including toy parts, shop supplies, utilities, toy making machinery and machine maintenance. We have no paid officers or staff and 100% of all administration and labor is provided by volunteers.

Specific Toymakers Needs & Donation Requests:

Any and all donations of volunteer hours, child safe materials and/or cash is greatly appreciated. If you wish to designate your donation for a specific purpose, listed below are some of our current and ongoing needs:

$30.00 will purchase enough wheels and axles to make 100 handmade toys, cars or trucks.

$100.00 will purchase several hundred toy enhancements decals such as ambulance, Batman or Barbie stickers.

$150.00 will purchase 10 high quality band saw blades needed to cut out the toy designs.

$300.00 will purchase enough wheels and axles for 1,000 handmade toys, cars or trucks.

$500.00 will pay the Toymaker’s utility bill.

$600.00 will purchase enough 1-1/4" wheels and axles to make 2,000 handmade toys, cars or trucks.

$650.00 will purchase a small production HVLP spray painting system for more efficient painting of wheels and toys.

$1,100.00 to purchase a 17" floor model drill press.

$1,200.00 to purchase a 14" band saw with casters.

$1,500.00 to upgrade the pneumatic air system.

$7,500.00 to purchase/upgrade the dust collection, HVAC and air filtration systems.

Any other cash donations to Toymakers will go directly toward toy making supplies such as dowels, flap sanders, drum sanders, sandpaper, wood glue, router bits, drill bits, paint supplies, child safety labels, decals, stickers, machine repairs, etc.

As a reminder, 100% of donations to Toymakers of East Lake go directly toward the process of making brightly painted, handmade toys for children designated by our hospitals and agencies.
